Settings reference
Every tab in Settings, top to bottom.
Open Settings from the launcher (type "settings" or ⌘ ,) or from the tray menu. Every tab is explained below.
Account

- Sign in or sign out.
- See your current plan and how much sync storage you've used.
- Manage subscription — opens the billing portal in your browser.
- Sync now — trigger a manual sync.
- Redeem a license key.
Full detail: Account & licenses.
Security
Everything related to keeping your data safe:
- Recovery phrase — view, verify, or export your recovery bundle.
- Biometric unlock — enable Touch ID / Windows Hello.
- Two-factor authentication — set up a TOTP authenticator.
- Automatic backups — configure how many recent snapshots to keep.
- Restore from backup — pick an archive and restore.
- Delete account — permanent, irreversible.
Full detail: Security & recovery.
Appearance
App-wide look settings:
- Accent color — changes the highlight color used throughout the app.
- Theme — light, dark, or follow the system.
Per-note appearance (colors, opacity, fade) lives in the Note Center, not here. See Notes.
Calendar
Add calendar feeds to QuickPeach so events surface in the launcher:
- Add a feed — paste an ICS URL or choose a local ICS file.
- Sync now — pull the latest events from all feeds.
- Sync on launch — keep events current automatically every time the app opens.
Quick Launch
Your launcher hotkey. The default is ⌥ ⇧ Space (macOS) / Ctrl ⇧ Space (Windows / Linux).
To change it: click the hotkey field, press the new combo, and save. If the combo conflicts with a system shortcut, the recorder will tell you — try a different one.
Quick Notes
Defaults for new sticky notes:
- Default size — the note's starting dimensions.
- Default appearance — starting color and theme.
- Fade on blur — whether new notes fade when unfocused by default.
Individual notes can override any of these in the Note Center.
Browser
Configure which search provider QuickPeach uses for @search queries:
- Choose from the built-in list or add a custom URL template.
- The active provider is what
@search <query>fires in the launcher.
Storage
- Notes folder — where your notes are stored on disk. Click to change it.
- Note format — Markdown (default, human-readable) or JSON (for tooling that prefers structured files).
- Storage overview — see how much space notes, attachments, and extension data are using. Clean up from here.
Full detail: Storage.
File Search
Control what the @file search indexes:
- Index scope — which folders to include or exclude.
- Rebuild index — force a fresh scan if results seem stale.
Extension Preferences
Per-extension settings exposed by installed plugins. Each extension that has preferences shows its own section here.
See Plugins for how to install extensions.
Integrations
- Clipboard history persistence — save clipboard history to disk so it survives restarts and is shared with extensions. Off by default.
- Discord webhook — post clipboard captures or calendar summaries to a Discord channel. Paste your webhook URL and enable it.
Updates
- Check for updates — see if a new version is available and install it.
- Release channel — switch between Stable and Early access. Early access is available to Plus and above and gets new features first.
Diagnostics
For troubleshooting and bug reports:
- Log retention — how many days of logs to keep.
- Build a diagnostic bundle — creates a redacted archive of logs and system info. Share it with a bug report to help track down issues faster.
Bundles are scrubbed of sensitive data before they're written.
